Summary for series 2: Moonwatcher  a Nightwing dragonet realizes that she has a power no other Nightwing has had for centuries, mind reading. When she goes to her new school things change. A dragon is under the mountain who can read minds to and he seams to need help.

Percy Jackson is a ordinary kid until his math teacher attacks him in a museum during a field trip. A vacation with his mom turns into a car chase to a mysterious camp at the end of which his mom supposedly dies. At camp Percy learns that the Greek Gods are alive and with us today and he must go on a quest not only to save camp but the world too.

As you go through the series Percy has more adventures meets new friends and in the end defeats the evil titian Kronos.

I rate this series a 10

I think the age group for this is 7-14

 

DRAGON KEEPER by Carole Wilkinson

Dragonkeeper

Summary: A young slave girl lives a horrible life until the Emperor arrives and tries to sell the imperial dragon to a dragon hunter! In a act of bravery she saves the dragon and starts her journey through China. As she travels, she encounters friends and enemies, and learns life lessons with the old dragon Long Danzi. She also protects the strange and mysterious Dragon Stone.

As you go through the series, you will meet Kai, a young dragon. And, after going on many adventures with Kai, the young girl finally has to say goodbye to dragons forever.  If you want to know her name and how she became free, you will have to read the book.

On a scale of 1-10, I would chose 10.

I recommend ages 9-12 for this book.
